Thirteen celebrities will be unmasked as the new batch of housemates in the "Celebrity Edition" of the much-talked about reality show "Pinoy Big Brother" starting this Sunday, October 14.

Among the new housemates are a controversial sexy star, a former band vocalist, a child of a famous celebrity and a model.

PBB fanatics, meanwhile, are already busy making their speculations on who will make up the list of new housemates for Big Brother's House.

Big Brother, however, said that the identities of the new housemates will only be known to the public during the show's inaugural on Sunday night.

PBB director Lauen Dyogi assured the public that each housemate has his or her own qualities to showcase.

For their part, PBB Season 2 big winner Bea Saw, former housemate Kian Kazemi and "Pinoy Dream Academy's" Yeng Constantino are all excited with Big Brother's celebrity edition.

The PBB Celebrity Edition will be shown "not once but twice" on ABS-CBN Channel 2 starting Monday, October 15.

The first airing ("Uber") will be hosted by Mariel Rodriguez and Bianca Gonzalez on the 5:30 p.m. slot while the second is slated to be shown on the "Primetime Bida" with Toni Gonzaga as host.

Viewers will also be given a bigger chance to participate after Big Brother decided that they can now recommend challenges for the housemates simply by sending in their text messages
